Terms of Sale
Placing and Order
You may place an order with Metro Packaging one of several ways. Orders can be placed directly on the website by selecting products and registering as a customer. You can also place an order by telephone at +61416686440.
Once you have placed your order we will email, mail, or text your confirmation of the order detailing all charges. Including, but not limited to, shipping, product cost, etc. Orders will not be sent to the warehouse for shipping until payment is made in full, unless other arrangements have been authorized.
Under normal conditions, most items will ship from the warehouse within 1-2 working days from the time of order. If you are in need of expedited shipping options, please give us a call at +61416686440
Orders may be cancelled by the customer if production and shipping have not begun. Once an order has been produced or shipped, it is not able to be cancelled. For return information please see below.
No returns will be accepted without prior authorization from Metro Packaging. All returns must be shipped back, at the expense of the customer, to Metro Packaging or the shipping warehouse. Merchandise returned to us must be in new, resalable condition, and in the original packaging. All authorized returns may be subject to a restocking fee.
Refunds will only be issued if merchandise is returned to Metro Packaging, with an authorized return, and in new, resalable condition. Since returns may be subject to a restocking fee, this amount will be deducted from the refund amount. In most cases, we will refund the owed amount back to the credit card that was used to place the order.
Most orders are shipped by UPS Ground. Transit time for orders, once they have shipped, are generally 5-10 working days. Large orders, such as swing sets, spring animals, and any items that are too large to ship by ground carriers, are shipped via couriers. Courier shipments being delivered to a residence must meet the following stipulations:
If courier company or driver determines the delivery location to be inaccessible, the customer will contact Metro Packaging immediately to arrange and different delivery location.
If alternate delivery location is required, customer will be responsible for any and all charges pertaining to delivery of the goods. Metro Packaging will make every effort to facilitate a smooth delivery process, however problems do arise, and must be planned for.
It is the responsibility of the courier driver to get the courier to the back of the truck. No accessorial services such as lift-gate or inside delivery are authorized. If these services are requested at the time of delivery, they will be the responsibility of the customer. It is the customer’s responsibility to take the courier off the truck.
No refund will be given, and any charges incurred due to non-delivery or returned courier, will be the responsibility of the customer.
Any shipping damage must be reported to metropackaging.com.au immediately after receiving product. We can not file a damage claim after 7 working days from the time of delivery. If item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately at +61416686440.
